Several small ribbon-cutting ceremonies for select spaces are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. A reception will follow in the lobby of the ECE Building.
Join us for an open house from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Building tours will be offered. Professor Philip Krein, chairman of ECE ILLINOIS’ New Building Committee, will give a talk called “ECE Upgrade: Designing for a living lab, deep innovation, and net-zero energy.” It’s scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Grainger Auditorium, just off the lobby of the ECE Building.
The College of Engineering will also hold its annual homecoming brunch in the new building from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. You must register to attend this event. More details available here.
